Media Neuroscience Lab Welcomes Fall 2018 Research Assistants and Volunteers

The Media Neuroscience Lab is excited to welcome our Fall 2018 Research assistants and volunteers.

Justin Mallette is a 3rd year Communication undergrad with a Writing Minor from Whittier, CA. Justin is interested in media addictions. This will be their 1st quarter with the lab.

Mika Kaczmar is a 4th year Communication undergraduate from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mika is interested in science communication. This will be their 1st quarter in the lab.

Jonathan Kim is a 4th year Communication undergraduate from Cerritos, California. Jonathan is interested in cognitive neuroscience within video games. This will be his 1st quarter in the lab.

Kenneth Ginther is a 4th year Communication undergraduate from San Ramon, California. Kenneth is interested in media processing, specifically with video games. This will be his 3rd quarter in the lab.

Rachel Sun is a 4th year Communication and Psychology double Major from China. Rachel is interested in media psychology and ADHD. This will be her 2nd quarter in the lab.

Thea Yodice is a 3rd year Communication undergraduate from San Pedro, California. Thea is interested in media processing and communication disorders. This will be her 1st quarter in the lab.

Aaron Barel is a 4th year Statistical Science major, minoring in Mathematics from Bellflower, CA. Aaron is interested in data science, machine learning, and sports/sports analytics. This will be his 2nd quarter in the lab.

Christian Quebral is a 4th year Biopsychology undergraduate from Los Angeles, California. Christian is interested in brain imaging, data science, and cognitive/systems neuroscience. This will be his first quarter in the lab.

Xinyang Miao graduated in summer 2018 from UCSB with a BA in Communication and Psychology. Xinyang is interested in data science, media multitasking, neural responses to online media content, and human computer interaction. Currently, she is volunteering for the lab after working as a research assistant during Spring 2018.

Edut Birger is a 4th year Communication and Psychology undergraduate from Palo Alto, California. Edut is interested in media psychology, human computer interaction, and user experience research. This will be her first quarter in the lab.

Brian Krieg is a 4th year Communication undergraduate from Pickerington, Ohio. Brian is interested in media multitasking, neuroplasticity, and cognitive neuroscience within video games. This will be their 1st quarter in the lab.
